rainy day concert in bkk

I'm reading about Rain's concert in BKK which took place on the 25th 26th. I heard that Sai Sai & Htun Htun went to see his concert. I wonder on which day they went to see his show. His fans said that his performances are the best on the second day. When I heard the news about Sai Sai & Htun Htun, the first thing that came in my mind was..what if he's singing "If you are single, raise your hand" in Korean and they raised their hands without understanding what he said. (Okay..it sounds a little bit off 'cuz Bi would have spoke in English). What really made me laugh my head off was when my sister "what if they started to imitate him by taking their shirts off at their next shows?". I know I sound mean to Sai Sai but thinking about it makes me laugh.

I'm going back to reading now.

edit:I think Sai Sai was going to 50Cent concert which was on the same day with Bi. Maybe the journal got it wrong. I still haven't read it yet.

mya yeik nyo concert

There's a concert at Mya Yeik Nyo on March 5th and I got permission from my father to go there. My mother doesn't want me to go 'cuz she think it's a waste of money. One of the big reason I'm going there is 'cuz Ye Lay is going to be there. KYW came to my office yesterday and told me about the concert. I look at the handout paper and I skimmed the singers' names, Sai Sai, Myay Pae Yo, Examplez, Kine Zar Tin Mone (funny thing is the paper didn't mention Antibiotic but I think they are going to be there). I was saying I might not be able to go and then I saw Ye' Lay name and I said I'm going. Yes, I'm a big fan of Ye' Lay. I know I'm not a teenager anymore and I should grow up instead of falling for pop idols but I can't help it with Ye' Lay (and Shinhwa and Bi :P). Just a few days ago, I saw Ye' Lay on TV. He was in a tv game show program. I missed the first half and I only got to see the second half, in which he was a part of a team to come up with a math solution. It's fun to do those math solutions and he lost on the first two second. I was thinking....aww...Ye' Lay tries to look smart with those glasses on (which makes him look so cute) but I guess he's not good at math but he won the other rounds...He said he made a bet with one of the girl on the other team and when he was handed out the prizes (I think they are Super coffeemix bags), he was teasing the other team, raising the prize and making funny faces. I surely like to see him perform on stage. The concert prices is 3000kyats for booking and 4000kyats when you buy at the concert. One of the guy from my work is going to perform there.

My father let me go to the concert 'cuz one of my friend from work is going to drop me off so he doesn't need to worry about me getting home.

I have been thinking of whether I should post some of my thoughts on my blog but now I found a song which describe my thoughts.

"I'm Just A Kid"

I woke up it was 7
I waited till 11
Just to figure out that no one would call
I think i got a lot of friends but I don't hear from them
What's another night all alone?
When your spending everyday on your own
And here it goes

I'm just a kid and life is a nightmare
I'm just a kid, I know that its not fair
Nobody cares, cause I'm alone and the world is
Having more fun than me

And maybe when the night is dead, I'll crawl into my bed
Staring at these 4 walls again
I'll try to think about the last time, I had a good time
Everyone's got somewhere to go
And they're gonna leave me here on my own and here it goes

I'm just a kid and life is a nightmare
I'm just a kid, I know that its not fair
Nobody cares, cause I'm alone and the world is
Having more fun than me

What the hell is wrong with me?
Don't fit in with anybody
How did this happen to me?
Wide awake I'm bored and I can't fall asleep
And every night is the worst night ever

I'm just a kid [repeat x5]

I'm just a kid and life is a nightmare
I'm just a kid, I know that its not fair
Nobody cares, cause I'm alone and the world is
Nobody wants to be alone in the world.

I'm just a kid and life is a nightmare
I'm just a kid, I know that its not fair
Nobody cares, cause I'm alone and the world is
Nobody wants to be alone in the world
Nobody cares, cause I'm alone and the world is
Having more fun than me tonight

I'm all alone tonight
Nobody cares tonight
Cause I'm just a kid tonight

busy at work

I wish I have time to write my blog. Just a few mins ago, I was writing my post when I was asked to edit some work. I thought I saved my post but it's gone. Why wouldn't people leave me alone after office hours?

I am been busy the whole week. It's funny when I have no work to do, I have to sit around or ask around for work but when I have work to do, a lot of jobs come to me and I can't turn them down 'cuz they were my previous jobs.

I feel bad that I don't have time to read Native Myanmar forum while I'm suppose to help around. All I can do is to upload songs. When I have time, I'm usually checking out other forums.

Tomorrow there's a seminar from my work and I have to wear my uniform. I can't remember the last time I wore my uniform. The uniform is simple, gray blouse and black skirt. I have to iron it tonight. I have to come to work by 7:30 am tomorrow which means I have to wake up early. One of the thing I hate the most in the work is not getting enough sleep. I hope I can ask my father to drive me to work so that I will have time to wash my hair. My hair is so messed up. I shouldn't have cut it.

embed music

I've embedded my fav song from Ye' Lay album. I've been wanting to do that but I didn't have a place to host my file. Big thanks to yznw for uploading the song for me.

There's a radio program called "Yin Khone Than FM" on City FM where people can vote for their fav songs which touch their hearts. It comes around 4pm on Sundays. I always listen to it 'cuz it's fun to hear what people think about the songs they voted for. Ye' Lay's song "Hteik Sone Hmar A May" was placed at number 5 yesterday. The voters said they like that song 'cuz it's similar to their own experience and they learned to think from their mother's view after listening to the song. Ye' Lay was present at the show and some people asked him some questions such as whether his mother is still alive and he said both his parents are alive and whether he worship his mother (kadawt) on his birthday. He replied that he always do that whether it's his birthday or not. Then City FM asked him how he feel about being placed as no 5. He said he had been listening to this program ever since it started airing hoping for his song to appear on top 5 list and when he heard the news, he was so happy that he came down to the station right away.

Congratulation Ye Lay! I am happy for him :)

I just checked my account at filefront.com. A few weeks ago, I uploaded a few episodes of Let's Go to the Beach there and now they are gone. They must have deleted it while doing maintaence. Now I have to upload them again.

I'm in a sharing mood today so I uploaded a couple of songs and videos. Sorry..no caps. I'm lazy to take them.

Gummy - Bogohshipda.mp3
(This is the female version of Kim Bum Soo's Bogohshipda)

Chae Yeon - Only you.mp3
(Her song is a little old now. I've only started to like that song now. She released that song and started performing arond the time Minwoo started with Bump. Maybe I was concertrating too much on Minwoo that I missed out on other singers :) I used to have her mv but I can't find it. I don't like her mv that much. I prefer her live performances.

Only You performance

I luv this song so much. I luv the way the song is mixed with rap & classical music.
My Girl OST - Never Say Goodbye Mario & Nesty

My Girl 03. suh reun bun jjeum - KYO

lee hom wang - kiss goodbye

I've shared K's Laughing vid via youtube on my blog before. I found some more vids by him. I searched for his info and found out that he released an album in Japanese. His album reached no 2 on the Japanese music chart. To reach no 2, he must be pretty good.

K - Dakishimetai vid (Japanese)

K - Girlfriend

I don't think I've shared this here yet. This is K performing Laughing and some other songs on KBS show.

K- kbs show hq vid (Laughing + Just the two of us)

Hyori's new mv is out and I'm kinda disappointed 'cuz she sounds like Britney Spear's Do Something. Why do they have to go after Britney's style? BoA's Dakishimeru also reminds me of Britney :(

Hyori - Get Ya

not in a good mood

I'm not in a good mood now. I've just arrived to work after having a little argument on a bus on the way from Thamine to work. I was located at the far end of the bus and pushing to get near the entrance and I had to shout that I'm getting off at the next bus stop. Some guys who were infront made a comment saying why didn't I just stand near the entrance if I was going to get off at a few stops. Normally I would have just ignored it but today I talked back to that person saying is that your problem? before I can stop myself. Then some other guy in front said take it easy. don't be so mad. Why is it their problem? It's not like I didn't want to stand near the entrance but so many people got on the bus and I was pushed near the far end. What am I do them..a living joke? So what if I don't act like a girl or a lady and don't talk softly like a lady or act polite? I am sick of being teased or being joked around by what I dress or the way I talk or the way I walk. Why can't they just mind their own business? I know I should have just ignored them but what give them the right to talk about me that way. Damn...I should have stepped on the foot of that person.

Turn Left Turn Right

After writing about Chance of Sunshine and Love At First Sight poem, I felt like watching Turn Left Turn Right again. Luckily yesterday was electricity day so I got to watch it at night. My brother was using the computer so I didn't get the chance to use the pc. Whenever he uses the pc, I always watch movies or something on TV.

I don't remember how many times I've watched this movie. Probably I've seen this 5th or 6th time. I got this movie from Ko Boyz who let me borrow his vcds a few years ago. I still like the movie no matter how many times I watch it. I don't like the actress much but I like the actor.

The story is a little bit different from the original 'cuz the ending was different. I wished that the ending was like the original or close to the story like meeting at the airport or something like that. I don't like the earthquake version. It's not common for earthquakes in Taipei. I also don't like the part when they both ran out to the street and shouted each other's student roll numbers 'cuz they don't know each other's names. I mean don't their answering machines record the caller's phone numbers?

You can read the movie review here or just google for it.

Love at First Sight

Today's Valentine's Day so I want to share a poem. I learned about this poem from the movie "Turn Left, Turn Right", a Taiwanese movie starring Takeshi Kaneshiro Gigi Leng based on an illustration book by Jimmy Liao. I watched it a long time ago. The reason I became interested in this again is that I bought a photo stand with a pic from "A Chance of Sunshine", the illustration book, with a pic of a guy and a girl facing each other. I doubt that people will understand what it's supposed to mean unless they have watched the movie or read the book. Thanks to Ma Suzu (from Bagan Net forum), I got to know the story 'cuz she translated it in Myanmar using pics from the book. Too bad I can't find that topic again. Trying to find a topic in Bagan Net forum is so hard. The search enginese hardly work and I always receive an error.

Anyway back to the topic, in the movie Gigi is a Polish translator who loves translating love poems and one of her favorite is this poem.

"Love at First Sight"
by Wislawa Szymborska

that a sudden passion joined them.
Such certainty is beautiful,
but uncertainty is more beautiful still

Since they'd never met before, they're sure
that there'd been nothing between them.
But what's the word from the streets, staircases, hallways—
perhaps they've passed each other a million times?

I want to ask them
if they don't remember—
a moment face to face
in some revolving door?
perhaps a "sorry" muttered in a crowd?
a curt "wrong number" caught in the receiver?
but I know the answer.
No, they don't remember

They'd be amazed to hear
that Chance has been toying with them
now for years.

Not quite ready yet
to become their Destiny,
it pushed them close, drove them apart,
it barred their path,
stifling a laugh,
and then leaped aside.

There were signs and signals,
even if they couldn't read them yet.
Perhaps three years ago
or just last Tuesday
a certain leaf fluttered
from one shoulder to another?
Something was dropped and then picked up.
Who knows, maybe the ball that vanished
into childhood's thicket?

There were doorknobs and doorbells
where one touch had covered another
Suitcases checked and standing side by side.
One night, perhaps, the same dream,
grown hazy by morning.

Every beginning
is only a sequel, after all,
and the book of events
is always open halfway through.

I am not really in a good mood now. I am chatting with a friend and my past memories from junior high school came up in my mind...bad memories. I have been trying to forget them but they are still somewhere..hiding and comeup whenever I'm feeling down. I am not saying that my life in junior high was bad all the time but there are times when my feelings were hurt and I had to keep them inside myself. I still do keep them inside myself 'cuz it's no use to talk about them now. I don't want to live in the past but I can't help thinking about them sometimes.

Changed topic...

I reinstalled Windows XP today. Now I had to reinstall softwares. I had to configure a lot of settings so I'm going to do them later on Monday. Right now I just want to relax. Funny thing is nothing is my mind except for chatting with my mind and singing along to music. On weekdays, whenever I don't have time to surf websites...I always say I'll do them on Saturday but when Saturday comes, I don't feel like checking them out. Then when Monday arrive, I'll say to myself..."Oh no, I should have do that on Saturday". I can't really understand myself sometimes.

Mingalar Par

I have been wanting to write about "Mingalar Par" movie ever since I've watched it but I didn't have time to type it until now. I wrote down my thoughts on a notebook and this is what I wrote.

I think the movie was shot in Sin Pauk village, according to the credits at the beginning of the movie. It started with Nay Toe and Sai Sai, who were new teachers sent to a village which is located in the rural area. When they arrived at the village, they were greeted warmly by the villagers. Their job was to teach a bunch of kids who lack education 'cuz it was hard to get teachers in that area. They experienced difficulties at first but they overcame them with the help of the villagers and a monk who everyone is afraid of 'cuz they don't want him to beat them with a stick. There were unnecessary scenes in the movie like showing a kid's butt up close which was covered with faece. The audience were complaining 'cuz they were eating while watching the movie. There was Myo Sandi Kyaw in the movie but she didn't get to act much. All I see is her do is clinging to Sai Sai. I hardly see the teachers teaching the kids at all. All I see is them singing a sing along song which is like the theme of the movie and it was repeated twice.

The funniest scene in the movie is when Htin Paw sat on a snake. He was meeting his girlfriend outside her house at night and he asked the teachers to help him. So Sai Sai took out the girl's brothers out to drink alcohol (he didn't drink 'cuz he's a teacher) while Nay Toe went to her house to chat with her father. When Htin Paw sat on the snake, he called out to his girlfriend and she went for help. Everyone gathered around him but they didn't know what to do. One guy suggested beating up the snake along with Htin Paw :). The only solution was to grab the snake's head so that he can get up and you have to grab from under the guy's pasoe. When nobody volunteered, the girl's father said he'll grab the snake. Everyone was laughing hard and they laughed more when he grabbed the wrong one. Of course he got the snake and Htin Paw got up.

Another funny scene was when Bae Lu Was went to another village with Nay Toe (main ma twar taung tar). Before he arrived to the village, he stopped the bull dock cart and he dressed up. He washed his face, applied Ko Yar snow on the whole body making his body look extremely whte. Then he applied ready made thanka on his face and applied power all over his face and body. He looked like a white monkey. He took out a yellow silk shirt and a yellow pasoe which look like a woman's longyi and put them on. If you know Bae Lu Wa, just imagine what I've described on him.

The movies wasn't that bad. After all it's a comedy movie. I just wish Sai Sai can act. I went to the movie to see Sai Sai and I came back watching Nay Toe. He's not a famous actor yet but people are starting to recognize him after his Mikko coffee mix commercial. I thought Sai Sai would sing but he didn't sing at all, not even the sing-along song. Nanda Sai fans would have been happy to hear his song in the movie. I know some people who listens to Sai Sai songs to listen only to Nanda Sai.

Another post about Ye' Lay :D
In this week Myanmar Times, there's a special feature section about Myanmar jewellery and there was a short interview with him about what kind of jewellery he likes. He said he wanted to buy jewellery for his ex-girlfriend for their anniversaries but now that he can afford it, he doesn't have a girlfriend!. That exclamation mark was included in the interview. Maybe the interviewer was trying to make a point to singles Ye' Lay fans that he's available he he. My sis said "Aww...poor guy".

I wonder when he'll release his vcd album. I am still waiting for the release.

Why would anybody thought I was a Korean?
I think it's funny that someone said that. I'm just a Korean movie, drama and music fan...some people say I'm obessed but compared to other fans, I'm just a normal fan.

Myanmar Times

As you can see on last week issue of Myanmar Times, you can see that Ye' Lay's name was mentioned along with Sai Sai and a small interview with him. I am so happy that he's getting recognized even thought he have only released an album and featured in some albums.

I was a little busy yesterday 'cuz our office was under a virus attack and all of the computers were running anti-virus. Now I just realized that Rain's Concert in NY was yesterday (and it still goes on tonight) so I'm reading Bi's thread at soompi. There's a news clip about the concert and you can watch it here.

Man....I wish I was there. I know I can't be there so I will just go home and watch his concert when the electricity comes back on at 11 pm.

Speaking of electricity, they are cutting off electricity at nights on the days you get electricity from afternoon to the next day's afternoon. Last night the electricity went out at 11pm and only came back around 6 am. And it will go off again at 2 pm today.

If you have been reading my blog, you would know about Eric who was in a car accident. Shinhwa fans are doing a Get Well Soon Eric Project for him. All you have to do is send out postcards to him and one person from each country will collect those postcards before sending them to Korean. I'm the collector for Myanmar and I know I won't get much cards. I have to send them out before Feb 7th to a member in Singapore. I want to announce this in Bagan Net forum & Native Myanmar forum but I doubt that anybody will be interested. They will probably think...there she goes again...that korean crazy girl.....
